It is with great pleasure and pride that we announce that Mirela Dežman, Vice President of the Veliko srce malom srcu Association, has been elected to the Board of the European Patients’ Forum (EPF).
This election is a natural continuation of Mirela’s international engagement. As Vice President of the European Congenital Heart Disease Organisation (ECHDO), Mirela has for many years actively contributed to strengthening cooperation among European patient organisations and advocating for the rights and quality of care of children and adults living with congenital heart disease.
This appointment is a great recognition of her long-standing and dedicated volunteer work and her tireless commitment to children with congenital heart disease and their families. It is also a recognition of the work of our Association and confirmation that the voice of our members in Croatia is recognised and valued at the European level.
